My daughter is very sweet and the most compassionate little one there is. The problem is when she does her home work or work at school she will rush through all of it, and coming up with a bad attitude ,because her teacher can't make it out, or she throws a fit , because she can't get on the first try.

Dear
I think your kid doesn't need to be patient but she needs to learn how to take it easy and take her time while doing any thing so u can start with her a long term project ( i mean something she like to do or play ) like a game or a Barby house ( the sky is Ur limit) and make her start on a specific time every day and finish on time too (make it some how long time ) and while she is working u can supervise her and step by step telling her to do every thing in a perfect way ...
i hope that will help dear
Best of luck

As the first two said, be patient yourself. Sometimes good kids are like that. I too have a six year old and he is the most precious kid. He is so hard on himself though. He doesn't rush through things, however he does get upset if he makes a mistake. I always reassure him that no one expects perfection, they just expect him to do his best.

she doesnt have any confidence in herself my daughter does the same thing she rushes thru her work and when its time to correct it she gets mad..but what i tell her is homework is not a punishment its to help you be smarter..all your clues are right in the homework you just have to know where to find it and let her know that when she has a fit her mind is not going to be in her school work all she is thinking is that she cannot do it that is what turns a child off thinking they cannot get the work

By showing patience yourself.

Lead by example. And when teaching her, require that she slow down and do the job right. When you are doing a job, point out that you, too, are slowing down to do the best job you can.

She will follow your lead.

By being patient yourself. Children learn what the live. If you're patient with her, she'll learn to be tolerant.
