Try to love yourself as nature made you. Nothing wrong with grey hair - the companies that make dye want to to think grey needs to be covered up, but why fall for that?

Grey hair is un-pigmented (white) hair. The term grey comes from the illusion that is created when white and darker shades are mixed together. The only dye pigments that will cover un-pigmented hair are made from phenylenediamine chemicals. Although there have been studies done on these dyes since the 70's there has never been any conclusive evidence that these chemicals are harmful to us - unless ingested in large quantities (definitely not recommended.)
The bigger issue - which is rarely discussed - is the use of hydrogen peroxide with hair dye. These dyes are oxidation dyes and have been the industry standard since the 40's. The truth is - hydrogen peroxide is not necessary to add pigment to hair or to cover gray. It is the hydrogen peroxide that will turn your hair brassy; create a strong line of demarcation; and create undue damage which causes dull hair.
