Id say they are paved with litter and the people we let live on the streets and not help them called the Homeless.
We shouldnt let other people into our country to live untill we ourselves as a country get the homeless homed and jobs.
Too much benafits for people that dont belong here.

The United Kingdom, unlike most or all other "old" EU member states, does not require registration with the police or any prior authorization during the transitional years.
Also, it is easy to work (illegally) off the books in the UK, and taxes aren't very high anyway by European standards. For an East European, the years paid into National Insurance stamps can (certainly if the migrant has ten years' coverage) yield a pension quite generous by home-country standards.
It is the lack of need for permissions and registrations, the low taxes and the robust econony that makes the UK a magnet for legal and well as illegal migrants.

That Dick Whittington thought they were, found out he was wrong but became Lord Mayor of London just the same.
The sad thing is that most of the Europeans coming in to Britain are prepared to work a d*mn sight harder than the British. Still, we are used to it. First it was the Celts, then they were taught manners by the Romans, then came the Vikings and the Saxons and then, just under 1000 years ago, the Normans (who were really French speaking Vikings.)
After that there was a few hundred years when we could decide what English was before we got a German king. More recently people arrived from the Caribbean and then from India and Pakistan (and we are still sorting ourselves out with that one). After the war, a lot of Poles came over or stayed when their Air Force was stationed over here.
I may have missed an invasion or three but the history of the British nation is more one of being taken over by immigrants than anything else. It's actually what has made us what we are.

Cause there is an opportunity!
I am a small time decorating Co. and employ 2 of chaps of your discription. No £20 a day for them. They take a good price and make their money and work damd hard. I have found some Brits want it handed to them on a plate. Who would you employ. Some lazy waste of space, or the man who wants to make a living.

in relation to home they probably are paved with gold.
it isn't neccesarily waht you or Iperceive as sensible, rational behaviour, but lets no forget these countries are just about recovering from 50 years of Socialisism and Communism. Relatively speaking their economies are bankrupt, underperforming disasters, whereas under Grasping Gordon we are becoiming a bankrupt underperforming disaster

Simple.
Come to the UK and you will be able to have.........free medical care/dentistry care, housing free, and a shed load of handouts and freebies.
Obviously, if you actually are from the UK, then certain criteria has to be met to get the above, but providing English isn't your first language, and your skin tone isn't lily, then you will be OK.
As for the added 6% that the lady above has mentioned......
we were lucky it wasn't 16%......NO, WAIT....It will be 16% but over a period of 5 years.
