you were not supose to find out! that wasnt the plan! but you did and it hurts, well to forgive is divine! try to understand why! though there isnt a good enough reason to cheat.

yes, I have cheated once on my ex-boyfriend. I did it because I was lonely. He used to meet up with friends after he would drive me home, or he would just not meet me to go out with his friends. We were rarely alone. He had a son of 7 years whom I loved as my own. He would leave his son with his mother to go out with friends, but not to go out with me! I felt that I was being treated very unfairly. No one cheats out of spite or for nothing. Saveral things/possibilities make you take that instant decision where you no longer care if you will hurt your S/O, just because you are hurting so.
In the end, cheating hurt only me because I felt like trash, and a coward cause I was not able to communicate with him and tell him face to face that I no longer felt anything for him.
Before you ask yourself why did he cheat on you, ask yourself in what things you could have treated him better. Did you communicate enough with him? Did you spent enough time with him? Were you very jealous?

I have cheated because of that exitement of being with someone new. I have also known guys for cheating because their girlfriend doesnt do things sexually that the guy wants

I find many do because they have insecurities, unresolved issues that leave an emptiness within them. It generally isn't something anyone else but themselves can satisfy but they lack the self esteem to fill it and seek others to do it for them...they will very seldom admit it...so I thought I'd mention it for them.
