Increase in abdominal girth, dull percussion above abdomen with signs of vascular depletion (super fast or super slow pulse). You should have the serum albumin levels checked and ten watched. Anything below-normal levels (low serum albumin levels result in fluid shifting out of vascular space because albumin normally maintains plasma colloid osmotic pressure) then get a doc right away...like now....right now would be good.

1. Symptoms: The typical symptoms of swine flu are: a sudden fever (a high body temperature of 38°C/100.4°F or above), and a sudden cough. You may also have: headache, tiredness, chills, aching muscles, limb or joint pain, diarrhea or stomach upset, sore throat, runny nose, sneezing, or loss of appetite. 2. How to protect your family: The virus spreads from tiny droplets of water that are sprayed when you talk, cough, laugh, sneeze, or spit. The droplets spray about 3 feet (1 meter) in distance. They are not visible. You can be unknowingly exposed to the infected droplets if you are within 3 feet of an infected person. To avoid infection you can stop hand-shaking, kissing, avoid crowded spaces, and stay away from people who appear to be ill. Wash your hands often, don't touch your face, get plenty of sleep, and eat heathy foods to otherwise boost your immune system.

Third-space fluid shift is the mobilisation of body fluid to a non-contributory space rendering it unavailable to the circulatory system. It is a recurrent clinical phenomenon requiring swift identification to minimise deleterious effects. Nurses experience difficulties however in its early identification, diagnosis and subsequent treatment because of the lack of consensual and consistent information regarding third-spacing.
Third Spacing takes fluid away from the normal fluid compartments and causes the patient to have hypovalemia.
Assessment of hypovolemia
* Decreased body temperature
* Low blood pressure
* Tachycardia
* Weak Pulse
* Increased Respirations
* Weakness
* N/V
* Weight Loss
* Assess for decreased urinary output
* Shock
* Increased Hct, Hgb, RBC’s
