Im already going to make my boyfriend something for our one year anniversary, something creative and sweet, like making him a blanket and printing pictures on it but I would also like to give him a gift I have bought. I was wondering if a guy that age would like a silver ring with Our names engraved on the inside, or sort of a promise ring, for a gift. He doesn't wear jewlery but I wouldnt expect him to wear it I just think it would be a nice gift. Would you 16-17 year old guys like that or what would be something else you would like??

rings=big commitment, if its buying then maybe like mp3 player and store all ur "couple songs" as most couples have certain songs.

That's really sweet. The problem is that girls and guys are so different that he probably won't appreciate that kind of gift...(esp. if he doesn't wear jewelry...)
Pay attention to the kinds of gifts he's excited about getting. Guys that age most likely would like: cologne, electronics, a new game (if he plays PlayStation, xbox etc.), a nice shirt or something along those lines. I know it's not as romantic and sentimental, but guys in general, aren't either (esp. at that age....sorry)
Pay attention to what he likes and you can't go wrong.
Good luck, I hope this helps...

Nah. Guys aren't into that engraved ring stuff.
Your other creative gift idea accompanied by a great card is enough...
Happy Anniversary!

Well actually I thought it was a good idea. He could wear it around his neck or put in his wallet...The blanket with pics on it is great I would even buy the paint and write a little saying on one of the corners of it under a sweet picture something he can read and look at when he is missing you ...

This is the marriage and divorce page and although I know a year seems like a long time to a teenager it is not... stop sweating the small stuff and don't get him anything because later on in life you will not remember this day so save your $$

Blanket and card is fine this is not a good idea to give a ring to someone that will not wear it waste of cash. sweet idea after you are older and have someone who will appreciate it.

if you two are in love, then he shouldn't care what you got him as long as he knows it came from the heart.
