It seems these parents today dont take any control of what their teenagers are doing and wearing, Why arent you trying to raise young ladies with manners and selfrespect? Put your foot down and be a parent already. Im tired of these slutty foul mouth mall rats looking for the next male victim to help screw up their lives.

They let their girls act that way because they have bought into the liberal-feminist idea that there are no absolutes. You wouldn't want to hurt a girls self-esteem by saying what she is wearing is slutty would you? It's also too much work to raise a child so they'd rather just let them do as they want.
If the parent hasn't grown up how can you expect them to make their children grow up?

I've helped my sister raise my niece the last 10 years and I will critique what my niece wears and tell her whether she will be able to wear something or not. I think you're being a bit too stereotypical with the statements you've made. You make it sound like every girl dresses slutty, every parent is to blame. People do their best and if it doesn't match up to the standards you have for other peoples kids, I'm sure those parents don't care about your opinion. I dont look at other peoples kids and be like, oh how could she be wearing that she is only in high school. There is only so much a parent can control without locking their child indoors. And as for foul mouths, I swear occaisionally but it does not fully represent who I am as a person. I expect parents to teach their children proper manners, but I don't get on parents if the child refuses to listen. Everyone is different and I accept that, no one is perfect. And there are just as many what you call 'good' kids as there are 'bad' kids.

well i agree with you that these girls these days do not even listen to what their parents say because they may leave thier sites all dressed like good looking clean cut girls when they get out of thier parents sites they change thier clothes or borrow others clothes and in many cases the mother dresses just like the daughters or even grandduaghters and that scares me today no one really cares that the sexual assult amount woman are up due to a lot of what these young girls are wearing and how they are basically acting like look at me i am easy so i think that people need to stop showing these female actresses all dressed up like trashy woman and dress them so they at least look presentalbe but that will never happen though i wish it would before it is too late and there is no control over everything or anything

I agree. I'm horrified at what some teen girls wear and even more appalled at what stores have for sale, even for the younger girls! I have a 6 year old daughter, and it's difficult to find cute, but reasonably modest, clothes for her. Short shorts, tight shirts, and demeaning slogans are rampant even for her age group. Why on earth would a parent dress their daughter in a flirty shirt that says "Great Kisser" or in tight shorts that say "Sexy" across the rear? Ridiculous and frightening!
Yes, our bodies are beautiful, and I believe in appreciating and respecting them. Running around semi-nude is demeaning. It's belittling and reduces women into s-x objects. Plus, it diminishes natural beauty and makes girls look common, even trashy.
Sure, kids will be kids and a bit of rebellion is to be expected for teens, but parents need to have some ground rules. If your daughter is sneaking around and changing on the sly, well, that's her choice. At least you've tried to teach what's appropriate. Just because we may have broken the rules too doesn't mean the rules should be broken! It means that everybody makes mistakes!

actually ive come to find that most of the sluts grew up in a bad household , usually theyre mothers didnt pay attention to them or they didnt have a mother , and in some cases ive seen , the daughters follow in the mothers footsteps....

I don't let her! Although I don't many parents do, and I think there are 2 major reasons. One is Mom & Dad are tying to be a friend and not a parent. The other reason is they feel guilty and let them do as they please to make up for it.

there are lots of teen girls who dress and act respectful of self and others
there are lots of teen girls whose faults are to stay up too late reading or talking to friends and playing their music loud in their parents' cars...and if those are my only challenges with my teen girl...I feel lucky.
