what is it caled when you dye only the bottom layers of your hair, but not your whole head? it's kind of hard to explain but it is kind of like if you put your hair in a high pony tail only the under side has coloring. and if you can tell me what website has a picture of it that would b very helpful! or if you know of any good websites that has ways to cut your hair.

My hair is like that. Black everywhere and blonde underneath. I took cosmetology for a year, and we never learned a specific name for that...I think if you want it done you just have to explain it to the stylist. I could be wrong, but I've never actually heard a name for it.
