After you open it? A couple of days. It stays fizzy longer if you put it in the refrigerator. If you keep it out, it loses the fizz in like 2 days. Kept cold, up to 5 days or so.

Our soda rarely stays around for 5 days though, we always drink it too fast!

It depends on the temperature of its environment, the amount of carbonation present in it, the addition of other ingredients that would promote the loss of carbonation (if you add sugar to a cup of soda, it fizzes up right away) and the air pressure of the environment (the room the bottle is in)

The higher the pressure, the slower. The colder the slower. The fewer ingredients, the slower.
Conversely, hot, high pressure and additives will speed the process.
There is no "one" answer, except if the bottle and all conditions were always held constant for a particular brand of soda, time of day, temp, pressure etc and then there would just be better 'precision' in the results but still not 100% repeatable results.

It depends! That's why we keep drinks on ice, and why it's "flat" in the car because of the warmth...

That depends on how many times you open it. The less you open it, the more it retains its fizziness. It will also lose that carbon dioxide faster when you do open it if it's warm instead of cold. If you shake it, it will overflow from gas pressure created and lose a LOT of fizziness.

... I drop stuff a lot, so I know the dynamics of soda fizz well.

Once the bottle is opened it usually takes one to two days. But a 2 litre you tend to drink the whole thing with a day.

shake it. open it slowly to let the air out. close it again. and repeat 5 or six times and it will lose it's fizziness in about ten minutes. otherwise it would probably take a couple of days if not less

after 1 day it is still fizzy but does not taste too good, after 2 days it is almost flat, after a week then all the co2 has dispersed into the atmosphere.

Depending on the heat....about 6 months. If you open it, it takes a matter of days if not refrigerated.
