Dear Jodi,
Check out anything on the below sites. I've provided links for Adderall, as well as Concerta and Strattera (the last of which I take).
Feel free to message if you have any questions!

I have taken Adderall for several years now and I am 27. Here is what I have noticed. As far as my job goes it helps me 100%. I am a mortgage lender and so I have problems that I solve day in and day out, I also work from home most of the time so that helps me to stay focused on work vs. watching tv, reading, cleaning... Now I take 30 mil. a day and it is the time released, not sure what your actual prescription is.. I always take mine with food in the morning, if I don't it makes me not want to eat all day, I am 110 so I don't want to lose anymore weight (which this will make you do). Because mine is time released I can feel it when it is kicking in a little later in the day, sometimes I can feel it a little more at 5pm, I don't like that so much because I just really want it when I am functioning during the day. A glass of wine will combat this anytime. Also, as far as sex is concerned, it might turn you off a little, once again, a glass of wine is normally the solution. I am sure that my doctor would say to lower my prescription or switch of time released but I like both.
By the way, yahoo answers is another distraction but this one I just couldn't refuse!
I saw someone else's answer above that said that they take Stattera, I believe they just discontinued that but I have friend that takes Concerta and loves it.

Common med for adult ADHD. Basic side effects are loss of appetite, difficulty falling asleep, stomachache, weight loss, dry mouth, , headache, and weight loss. Amphetamine Mixed Salts are still amphetamines and abusing amphetamines can kill you and give you severe heart problems. Follow the directions and report any problems with your primary doc. Some very rare problems are Palpitations, myocardial infections, high blood pressure. Pyschotic episodes have occurred (very rare) dizzy, euphoria, depressed, seizures, stroke, changes in libido. That’s not to scare you away from the drug, it’s just rare side effects that could occur. And if your doc doesn’t have time to talk to you about this, switch docs! If you simply gave you the white pills (5mg) then you should be fine. It is a very common med.

Adderall is great stuff! Lots of fun and it gives you a good buzz. (Though I only ever did it when I was 22)
