go for what you want, however your assertiveness may cause him to back down but if he likes you he will still be into you.

No, being aggressive (assertive) isn't bad, but I'm curious why you chose ShyGirl as a name given your description of yourself...they seem incompatible. At any rate, attraction strikes people in different degrees, but there is someone out there who will be attractive to you on such a level it will be unmistakeable. And they'll be well suited for who you are, the way you are. Isn't life grand?!
