I could recommend Lysol, it comes in a small bottle and it is concentrated. They use it in the hospitals sometimes for washing laundry. I do not know what effect that would have on your baby's clothes, you may have to wash them twice?! I would think that if you washed them in hot water and used soap it would sanitize them fine. I would suggest going to a department store and killing the roaches and help to annihilate that problem too.

They have an Arm and Hammer baking soda detergent now, that antibacterial. Also have you tried Dreft? I used it on my babies when they were young, with of course downey softner and hung the diapers on the line, they were so soft and fresh. Plus the sun would lighten them as well.. They never got diaper rash.

bleach, only a very small amount in a large load of laundry will do, maybe half a cap? Dont put dishwasher soap in it though because I did that and got suds ALL over the floor.

actually all research says antibacterial soaps actually make us sick becouse if our bodys dont find the exposure to germs we cant build up out restance to them so when we do get sick it's very sick instead of a mild cold, colds are natural anti bacterial soaps are not.
