You didn't say how old you are, but I'll assume you're a teen.
Funny: I just had dinner at a family's house where the kids were ages 5, 7, 9 and 17. They were ALL watching High School Musical. Seemed ok to me. Plus, the little ones were busy running around, playing with toys.
My kids liked the movie "Grease" at that age (the girls, anyway), but I'll bet they'd be entertained by stuff like Finding Nemo, Toystory, Spy Kids, etc.
The boy in the family I recently visited was very interested in the TV show, Animal Planet--LOVED telling all about animal behavior.
These kids (and my own, when they were that young) like pasta with butter on top, which is what they ate for dinner that night. And maybe some Parmesan cheese right out of the can, shook on top. Cheese pizza is also popular. Most kids like to dip certain veggies in Ranch dressing, too. Hot dogs...mac & cheese...
Do you know how to draw a hopscotch with chalk on the driveway? That's somewhat fun for kids.
Riding bikes, nature hunt for bugs, badminton (wal-mart sells cheap sets), putting on a show--make the kids think up some drama and let them act it out for you--dig up some goofy props. Have them set up a lemonade stand. Teach them how to sing a silly song.
Bake something simple--like brownies--with them.
Good snacks: popcorn, pretzels, oranges, yogurt, fruit popsicles, cinnamon toast, pizza bagels, cereal, chewy fruit snacks, hard boiled eggs.
Good luck!

Sounds like he needs the good old 'you are off punishment when I say so or when you start acting better'. In his room should be no toys, no tv, no games, until her starts to shape up. If he wants to play let it be for a short interval then take it away again. The big issue is he is still old enough to be corrected, but it will be very hard to retrain him once he hits the teen years and he his dead set against everything you do. Have a meeting w/ the school, babysitter, etc for reinforcement. You may want to also think about tapping into Christmas and Birthday's. Not saying to take them away but instead of going all out like he has been a lil prince the whole year, just do a few things and thats it.

If they're girls, try Madagascar, Cheaper By The Dozen. and Highschool Musical is good. Kids that age r really into imagintaion games like mermaids, or build a tent with them. Read them stories, Play educational board games. Feed them Fruits, make ur own pizzas, and try to make them pancakes for breakfast that have a smile and eyes on it or something! Good Luck! : )

girlies are fun! They like pretending and doing what you're doing, so make up, hair, dress up that stuff. I'm sure if you check out local stuff like museums or parks they'll like it. I'd limit the movies to night time, too much TV will BORE them.
OH, and crafts, like making jewelry or stuff like that, go to a craft store. Its cheap and fun.
Good Luck and dont worry, they'll feel the tension and wont have a good time, just be cool about it.

You can get all the suggestions in the world it doesn't matter they may not fit their interest or likes. Ask their mother they always know. Better yet since you are entertaining the girls ask them. It will save you disappointment and money.

If your local library is like mine, take them there and let them pick out videos/DVD's they haven't seen from the children's section! I don't know that my 7-year old would be interested in a high school musical, but it couldn't hurt him.
Good luck!
