Here's the drill: (1) Eat breakfast every day -- people who don't are 450% more likely to be overweight. (2) Eating bigger at breakfast is much better than eating bigger at dinner because you'll burn off the calories during the day, as opposed to going to sleep and storing all those extra calories as fat. (3) All carbs are not created equal. Whole grains and fresh fruits and vegetables are much better for your weight loss efforts than white bread, white rice, potatoes (and anything that comes from them), and fruit juice. (4) You should have some carbs at night, but there's no problem if you want to eat more carbs during the day and then cut back at night.

I am a personal training and yes that is a great idea. Most thin people will eat a large, and well balanced breakfast. You should not eat any carbs after 4 hours of going to sleep. Stick to proteins and veggies if you're trying to lose weight.
The best time to eat carbs is in the morning so you can get your energy for the day ahead. :-)

It's actually better to eat heavy carbs in the morning, cause you will burn a lotta calories during the day. At night, better to have some light food, cause you ain't burning a lot then.

you can eat all your heavy carbs in the morning... but still have "breakfast"
try wheat bread, whole wheat cereal, museli, porridge...
all are "good" carbs that will fill you up and keep your metabolism burning.
If you mean "heavy carbs" by something lik emuffins and donuts...then i wouldnt advise it...you're getting onthe sugar rollercoaster and playing with your blood sugar which will mean you crave sugar all day long as soon as the level drops.

That sounds like it might work because you need those carbs early in the day to have energy!

Actually, that's a very smart way of eating. Technically, you need a larger number of calories at the start of your day to get you through. By evening, you don't really need that much because you don't burn as many calories asleep as you do awake. So if it works for you, go for it!

I don't think anything is wrong with enjoying breakfast for dinner. In fact, I find that when I am dog-butt tired from work the only thing that I have the energy to cook is 2 eggs over medium with turkey bacon. Thanks to my trusty broiler, I can have "dinner" ready for myself in less than 10mins.

If it gets you to cut down on your overall caloric intake, you maintain a balanced diet, and it's something to which you can stick, then go for it!
