Sure... I guess so... sometimes I'm that way, not being romantic until I'm actually in love.

Well, if you two have said you liked each other, then I am pretty sure he was asking you to go with him, but I wouldn't really consider it a date because of where your going. If that is as romantic as he gets, I feel sorry for you. So decide if you like that kind of romance and then decide if you want to be with him. Then ask him out to a movie or dinner. Show him how it's done.

Maybe not. Campaigning does not sound like kind of date to me but if he is finding excuses to be with you then it could be one. My husband was like that we went on our first date and I never knew it thought he was my friend and excepted my invite to go out with others then he said something about being a date been together since 18 years later. Just ask him to go to the movies.

No, campaigning is not a date. That's like if I asked someone to come work for me being a date. If he doesn't say, "Do you want to go out on a date" or something similar to that, it isn't a date. Personally, if he likes you, he'll ask you out. If he doesn't actually ask you out, then he is exaggerating his attraction to you.

i think thats very silly, since its clear that u two like eachother, but i wouldnt consider that asking you out. but i would say go ahead and make the first move, u have nothing to lose, and a couple of things to gain ;-)

He may have been feeling you out. be aggressive and see where it goes. Be aware though that if he is a serious 'political campaining' kinda guy...you should be the same type. Otherwise you're likely to run into compatibility problems.

he could've but i don't know him and different guys react different ways. Now you should ask him to go to a movie or something with you. If you think he likes you a lot and u feel the same about him u should ask him out. But if he asks u out and u don't wanna date him just say u don't wanna date him cuz it could ruin ur relationship.

In a way its a "going out question"... He asked you to go out with him "campaigning" so he can see if your "likes" is similar to his...
But you said NO... That might have been a chance to get to know him more, but you let it go...
