If you have a fight with your girlfriend and she walks out taking most of her belongings out of your house with her, how long do you leave it before you contact her if at all?

I obviously see it as his fault or I wouldn't have walked out, I walked when he kicked a chair. No violence around me please and thankyou.

That's a tough question to answer, depends on circumstances..what was the fight about, how weak is the relationship...is she worth making up...If the fight was my fault, I'd call her sooner than later...but if was her fault...I'd wait for an apology before considering patching things up.

Wow, that must have been some fight. I take it he hasnt called yet. How long has it been?
Personally, I dont think Id last more than a day of being "stubborn", sleep on it and probably call in the morning but then I havent had a blazing row where someone has walked out with most of her stuff.

If I cared for her,which i know i would or i wouldn't be living with her,I would be begging all the way to the street as long as she wasn't going out on me or moving in with another guy,but if I thought she really wanted to leave me and didn't care for me I wouldn't bother her at all.if she left some of her belongings i would just pack them up until she calls for them and i would set up a time and i would set her stuff outside the door so she could get her things and not worry about being bugged by me.no matter how much i car for her if she didn't care for me.

If she's taken everything (especially all of her shoes and make-up!) then she ain't coming back. Otherwise I'd give her a week or two to cool down and then ask if she wants to come back and sort things out. Failing this, I'd give her the boot. No one is worth wasting my time on too much. I've learnt this the hard way!

If she takes her stuff, I'd take it as final, no negotiating!
Give her a week to come back and get the rest of her stuff - if she doesn't, then box it up and leave it outside her house.
Then party on!! Go find me some other ladies ... How sexist is that?!?!

Give urself and her a few hours to calm down then phone her, i bet shes feeling just as bad, if you really love her and want this to work then things will work out... lifes to short to stay angry. good luck x
