you go to your local DMV office,,or like where we live the office is located inside of the court house,,anyway take your title,,and a slip of sale,,or a bill of sale,,along with proof of purchase,,and price of vehicle,with you,,,,make sure the title has been signed and all lines filled out where it has on it by seller,,and by buyer,,and then they will change it over ans issue a new tag and change the title over,,its an easy process as long as there are not any mistakes made on the title,,good luck hope this help,s.
