Epsom salts are sometimes used for sprains, it alleviates pain. Fungi is cured through the body internally, not topicallly. A doctor will recommend an antifungal like Diflucan, now some prescribe a one dosage treatment. They are sometimes caused by acrylic nails because of humidity caught between the nail and your skin and nails. Or you may have a Candida Albicans overgrowth in your system. Read up on that on a website and do the dietary restrictions to control this fungus, very hard to do but worthwhile. A clue to having CA is among other symptoms, skin itching, constipation, body aches, ringworm, athletes foot, feeling all over sick depending on stage (1 to 5, five being severe) See your doctor for a quick cure, and later see a naturopathic practitioner for maintenance. At some health food stores there are people that can give information/education or recommend a brochure or book.

Unfortunately curing nail fungus is very difficult and prescription medications are very expensive. If you have insurance you should see your doctor for the best treatment. Even lamisil isn't good for nails, it is for fungal infections of the skin.

might not remember this correctly, but I think fungi are pretty tolerant to sodium, salt. you'll need the antifungal.
