I love roses b/c its classy, traditional, and very romantic. But shoot any flower is beautful especially when its the favorite color of your lady love, b/c that way she sees that you notice **** like that. Try orchids, carnations, daffadils...
I persoanlly love silver more than gold but I'm younger and most older women prefer gold I've noticed, but look through her jewelry and see what she has more of and what she most often wears...

Any bouquet of flowers will make her happy... just don't get her carnations (they're tacky). If you don't mind spending a lot of money on flowers you can get her red roses. Go to a small flower shop, the women there will be able to help you. I'm sure what ever you think is beautiful your wife will too.
Gold and Silver is to each person's taste. Look at the jewelry your wife already owns. Does she have more gold or silver? I personally like silver, white gold, or platinum!

Hmmmm - most women have their own preference as to gold or silver. Have a look at your wife's jewelry - if she has more of one kind than the other, then that's probably what she favors. A lot of women seem to like roses, but some don't (me, no, I prefer dahlias, iris, pansies). If you're not sure about your wife, maybe go with the roses but choose a color that you know she loves - ie if pink or yellow is her thing, then get a pink or yellow rose instead of red. Just fyi: proflowers.com has some of the best flowers I've ever ordered. Their roses smell wonderful, unlike some of the ones I've gotten from local florists. And they have a large selection of other flowers as well.

I do like flowers but roses just don't last very long. Does she have a favorite flower? Stargazer lily's are my favorite. Gold and silver depends on the woman. I'm platinum and white gold myself.

i like white gold. i think yellow gold is tacky. i also think unusual colored flowers are very pretty, or an unusual assortment put together. basically just not the everyday bouquet you can buy at the store. if you get red roses, get GIANT red roses, i also love lavander roses, pink and white mixed, tulips are very very pretty and contemporary (one of my favorites too), lillies, i do not like carnations. i think they are so cheap and plain. your wife is a lucky lady. i'm sure she will love whatever you decide to get.

Personally, I would prefer a week-end camping in the wilderness, just me and my man. Nothing but a fire for light at night and my man for warmth. Cooking breakfast over an open fire.......mmmmmmm smells so good.

roses, any color, platinum, diamond but if you had to choose between gold and sliver go for white gold
