Actually he doesn't really talk to his mom neither do I. We both talk to my parents way way more than his. In fact we are moving closer to my parents.... It's not like I force him to talk to my parents he just loves my parents, and looks up to them.

No. But my husband talks to my mom more that I do most of the time. He has told my mom things that he hasn't told me... Beware... sometimes I do get a bit jealous... not jealous of my mom, but jealous of the fact that my husband confides (most of the time) first to my mother before confiding in me.

yes, I talk to my mother-in-law more than she talks to her two children. It drives my husband crazy that his mom calls and talks to me and doesn't want to talk to him. its weird but they aren't very close and i feel that its part of my daughter-in-law duties to let her know how the kids are doing.
