I am trying to get Adobe Photoshop CS2 from Amazon.com.
There are two different prices in there:

Adobe Photoshop CS2 is $590.00

Adobe Photoshop CS2 Upgrade from Photoshop (Any version) is $150.00

What are the differences between these two products?
Thanks.

The $590 is the full version of CS2. All installation files, system files, everything needed to make the software run.

The upgrade is just that. You have a previous version of Adobe Photoshop installed on your system and the upgrade puts the neccessary files on to bring the version up to CS2 along with upgrading some of the existing files.

Upgrade means you already have Photoshop. You can get the new version cheaper because of this. You can't get the cheaper price if you don't already have Photoshop.

At the end they will be the same, if you do not have one before, then you buy the whole package ($590); if you have previous one, just pay for the extras ($150).
