My husband tried saying that he was going to stay friends with his ex when we met, I refused for that to happen........she would have gotten her a$$ beat if he did.............

That makes no sense to me either. I would ask him why would he want to be friends with a woman who is still in love with him? Ask him is it helping her? seems it would be hurting her more. But I would be curious as to why they broke up in the first place. Since you are his new gf you better make sure you're not the one dumped if he decides to take her back because they have a history, she still loves him and he still obviously not ready to walk completely away from her..so be careful and good luck.

I'd look into why they broke up, if you don't already know that is. Even so, let him know you're not comfortable with him being friends with her because it's awkward for you. He's obviously ended things with her for whatever reason and she needs to understand that. He also needs to understand that he shouldn't be giving her any ideas. She's probably trying to win him back.

I had the same issue when I first started dating my girl about 2 years ago. Her ex constantly called her when she was with me. I just let her know i wasn't comfortable with it. I told her, "Look, I want you to be happy. If you're happy with him than choose him and I'll be happy for you because it will make me happy to see you happy. I don't want to come between you and someone you love". I gave her a couple of days then wouldn't you know, he called her and she answered telling him, "look you need to move on. I've moved on and you need to do the same. We're not together anymore so you need to stop calling me".

If he needs to talk to her for whatever reason than you tell him that you should than be able to talk to whomever you want to talk to and he cannot question you because that wouldn't be fair on your relationship.

Last but not least, Let me know how this pans out!! msmith1282@yahoo.com

I dont think so!!! If she is his ex then that means (past) not present. I would ask him why #1. Then I'd tell him its me or her BUD!!!. Thats nonsense..It would make me wonder. And if she;s still in love with him then all she's doing is trying to reel him in again she cannot let go!!! I'd watch that situation real close..
