I have been working out for about 4 months now and just wanted some advise on what is the better workout routine. Just to let you know my goal is to gain strength and size, and I do a full body workout when I go to the gym, it usually take me a little over and hour.
Would it be better for me to workout two days a week (Mon. and Thur.) and give my body longer to recover. Or workout three days a week(Mon., Tues., and Fri.)and get in the extra day. Which would be better to accomplish my goals?

If you're really dedicated, 5-6 days a week. Its really new, Its spot training. The thing is, you work only 1 body group a day. i.e. Monday-Pecs, Tuesday-Lats, Wednesday-Shoulders, etc. Then you let one muscle group rest as another is worked. But you really have to work the muscle until its dead. Also reduce the number of rep as you increase weight. Do lifts that you can do higher weigth on, like dumbell press is better than Flys for mass building

well I would suggested working three days a week, and the first and third day go hard...and work on upper body one day, then lower body the other. And in between go light and do your full body workout just to maintain. But dont take too much time off in between.
