We're on for this weekend.

Bring all those dusty old Bibles off your shelf, or stop by the thrift store and pick up a few dozen and let's throw them into the BBQ fire. Just imagine roasting hot dogs and marshmellows over hundreds of Bible versions, New King James, American Standards, Revised, New Revised, Modern English, Revised English, Jerusalem, Living, Modern Readers, American Translation and others! I guess the International Standard gives whatever you are cooking a nice exotic tangy flavor!

I love the smell of burning Bibles in the evening!

If that would make you happy, or satisfy some need that you have, then bust a move. Burning a book is not going to destroy my faith in Christ, and I can always get another Bible to replace mine. Why does my faith bother you SO much that you have to post a ridiculous question like this, knowing it's just going to cause anger and hurt feelings? How do you justify that? If you're an atheist that's fine with me, but I'm not fine with ANYONE, believer or not, who tries to deliberately hurt a group of people with garbage like this. But you know what? I forgive you anyways and will pray for you. May God bless you and may you find happiness and peace.

They tried that in Germany didn't they? How did that work out? Trying to get a rise out of Christians this way won't work. You gotta throw a few of us on the fire before we become concerned. Book burnings are a sign of an ignorant/closed mind. Those who refuse to learn from history ARE condemned to repeat it. Sounds like you have forgotten more than you should. But I will tell ya what---why don't you use your old PLAYBOY magazines as the starter and we'll talk. :-)

Being anti-semitic is fine but you really do no need to antagonize others. I'm truly not a believer in the bible but feel that some people need religion to cling onto to get them through life. Let it go!

Oh, no... sorry. Burning books makes me sick to my stomach.

The Bible is not to blame... the people that take such a masterpiece of fiction to be truth and then make the lives of others hell as a result... they are the ones to blame.

Will Hot dogs and Marshmallows taste as good roasting over hipocrisy?
Or will I detect a bitter aftertaste of intolerance?

How sad, you should be very happy during the last 3l/2 years of the Tribulation. Everything will be burning. OH. except those of us who have gone with Jesus in the rapture.

I think you would do better having a bbq, and reading/studying/discussing the bible during the bbq. burn wood, not books.
