Most of your answers align with my views - Muslims don't want to integrate. indeed they want to take over our society then the world - and no I'm not paranoid - honest!!!!

Brigweid, what you say doesn't ring true. Black people in the UK integrate very well on average. Nowadays something like 25 - 30% of black people marry outside theirv own colour mainly to white people; this doesn't happen at anything like the same level with Asians and especially Muslims

abdulaziz, Please don't compare modern Muslims with Jesus and his followers. Christianity did not spread throughout the world by the power of coersion and the sword, but Islam did. So I know which faith, I'd rather follow.

I'm afraid yiu are wrong. Muslims in general do NOT want to integrate into Britsh society, many of their values are contrary to Bristish values, their religion demands they keep a certain degree of separacy, and frankly they practice reverse disrimination on a racial basis by refusing to allow their young people to marry outside their race and religion.

It's been quite succinctly stated that muslims do not wish to integrate into 'mainstream' british society due to their beleifs. I quite agree with this, however, I don't believe that there is equality between cultures in that muslim, sikh, jewish and other communities segregate themselves (quite understandably) to separate themselves from the worse aspects of 'general' white culture and allowances have been made for them with discrimination laws which actually put white people at a disadvantage. To touch on the current 'terrorist support' issues, I don't agree that many young muslim men openly state that their alleigance lies with whichever asian/eastern country. It is wrong that other cultures can legally colonise britain to take advantage of our economy while disagreeing with what the country stands for.

I believe they do, or at least they did.
Do not forget that Muslims were brought into Europe to help rebuild it after WWII - they were brought in to essentially do unskilled labor and then were expected to go back home afterwards. The Europeans never accepted them because of their own prejudice.
I lived in England for a while and knew many muslims - some very young, bright and promising, but they all were working the lowest paying jobs. They also all expressed that they felt like they didn't fit in, they were not considered English, depsite their British accents and the UK was the only home they knew.
I believe there has been a great deal of resentment built up, and that many probably no longer want to integrate - they don't want to become part of a society that is prejudice against them (this is exactly the same feeling some African-Americans had; they felt they could never be "Americans" and should return to Africa)

Im a white British Muslim and i have retreated somewhat from british society since i came to islam. i just don't feel comfortable with the views or behaviour of many non muslims, i hope to move to an islamic country within a year or two. Just an note to the person who said the comment about equal rights for women, check out your own history, the rights muslims women had to own property, inherit ect for 1400 years british women got only in the last hundred years. Don't talk about stuff you are clearly ignorant about. Finally, a word to ladymoonlight, your foul mouthed reply has done you and your country proud

Why don't they just move to Islamic Countries? Why the **** should we change to accommodate them?
No they don't want to assimiliate. They think we are all "Kaffirs" and are evil blah blah and deserve death. So the question remains - why are they still here?? Yeah, they were invited in in the 1960s. Its now 2006. They could have gone home years ago. Why stay?!?!? They are not wanted here. Certainly not after 7/7.
Has it got something to do with the fact that they don't get the sort of Social Security Benefits, free healthcare and housing in the average Islamic Country that they get in the UK? That in places like Pakistan there is real poverty and they just want to bum as much off our government as they can?
God knows why any sane white Brit would abandon their birthright and subscribe to this "religion". It must be a sign of deep self-hatred. I love my ancestry and heritage and would never **** upon it by converting to "islam".

You should define which Muslims ... if you talking about these mad men trying to kill anybody not agree with them thoughts sure not ... they killing Muslims too but if you are talking about the real Muslims you will be very comfortable to live with them and they respect all world. Another thing.. They already proving this all over the world.... and I’ll ask you by my turn ... is there in the history modern or very past bad examples of all other religions ... who is fighting under God name and killed Millions … is that mean every one believe like them is bad and should finishing him ... think .. And make your mind up.... I invite you to read about Islam from good sources and rightful one you will discover something very important ... them book Quran gives them all the answers they need for good life and to others also ... so .. If they away of this Book ... they will be as you see now... getting down between the nations and if they near from they Book they will rising between nations
If returned back in history you will find Muslims effects in all life ways all over the world ... and you will discover that all what you knew about them is wrong almost ... I’ll give you one example:
all the world think that Muslims doing very bad with women and men make women suffering all the time ... you will wondering if said to you that the Islam FREE the women from 1400 years ago and give her wrights she is never get it before all over the history .... I can not tell you how in this place ... but go ...and ask ... read ... search about there is a 1000's of examples like this but ... now they very weak ... I'm not talking about Armies power ... but talking about them .. From inside...
They haven't the carriage to let them voice rising and respond of all roomers they enemies saying..It is like "silence of lamps" if I can say that.
They waiting to be killed even from some mad like Bin Laden’s Groups and who is like them.
Finally ... yes they can live in peace in any society and keep they habits the same without harming the others IF... THEY REALL MUSLIMS

They should and if they dont,plse find out why.
If it is the wishes of everybody that they should integrate into the society,then some program has to be planned and implemented.
In reality integration is easier said than done.Even Asian non- muslim and black Africans find it without much success.

No that's why they take over areas and make them there own.
Muslim schools ! Muslim PARLIAMENT ! and lets not forget the race relations board. Who laugh in your face if you are white!
They do not want equality they want superiority
and the PC brigade are helping it happen

It is very difficult for them to integrate because their religion prohibits every thing we stand for.
Concepts of freedom that we defend so vigorously are blasphemes in their scripture.
Equal wrights for women, Freedom of speech, are just a few examples.
They can’t integrate not because they don’t want to but because their faith prevents it.
