No wine can not help. It would make you sleepy.

A sweet drink twice a day might help people beat the blues.
A new, small study showed that two special high-carbohydrate drinks a day helped clear symptoms of Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD), a seasonal depression that appears mostly during the winter, when people receive minimal sunshine.

So something like Red Bull or Irn Bru can help.

Your brain needs lots of liquids (not alcohol) to keep hydrated so it can work. It is best to start your day with some protein to get the brain going....eggs, peanut butter, cheese, etc.

My usual is either a half bagel, toasted with cream cheese
or a piece of toast with peanut butter and cheese.
