How do you know if a guy is being genuine and really likes you, or if he's just smooth talking his way into your pants? For some reason I cant pick up on it until it's too late. Is there any way to detect it sooner?

Yes there is. Don't sleep with him until you've dated for about three to four months. Make him WAIT. If he sticks around without sex then he's probably really interested. If he wants to go to bed after you're first date, then odds are, sex is all he ever wanted you for. Good luck!!!!

I've come to the conclusion that sex is pretty 'innocent' for some and quite 'different' for others. Thus while some people have their mind on the person in front of them, others are only mindfull of satisfying their bodily urge without any real concern for mutual interaction.
To say that you have to watch out for these types is probably logical, however it would help if you payed more attention to your own intuition?? somewhere deep inside your mind you are registering all the little signs on one's behaveour ..those signs should tell you whether they're honest or not..

try to ask him stuff about his family...if he says somethin' like ooo...doesn't matter...it's pretty bad...but if he starts to tell you about his father and how was he having fun when he was a child...that's good...it means that he is a serious guy and he wants from you more than a night...maybe an entire life next to you...but some guys are just too complicated to function...normally...so this doesn't work out every time...

Thats is why people say don't have sex too soon because it could be just for sex. If you wait a few months and he can respect that then he loves you and are willing to do whatever it takes to keep you.

Does too late mean you had sex with the guy? DON'T HAVE SEX!!!!!.....not for a long long time. Time tells all...if they stick around for a while without sex and deal with everyday life with you, the good and the bad, most likely it's not just about sex for them.
