As long as both people are on the same page... I guess not. But if your partner thinks you are in love with them, and you are not. Well....that just sucks. You should always be open and honest about your feelings. You could be wasting your time, as well as your partners. And, well that is just a lack of respect to not tell them EXACTLY how you feel.

It depends. Hopefully you are aware that real love just doesn't explode on the scene and you are dating a "love" when you go on your first date. Hopefully you know that love is something that grows and develops and matures.
Hopefully what you are really talking about is the idea that you are dating a friend with whom there is not really a huge "spark" - there may not be the sexual energy that spikes between you two - the stuff that makes you giddy before you get a chance to know each other.
And if you are, even then it is not necessarily a bad thing to be dating that person. Some of the best friends eventually make the best loves and partners. Love can, like fog, come in on little cat feet - - - all without you knowing it. If you are interested in this person and want to see what can develop, then dating them without feeling the sexual intensity is ok.
If, on the other hand, you are dating them just to mark time while you wait for someone else to come along ....and they don't know that ..... THEN it is, indeed, "wrong."
So you see, it depends.

Not at all. Dating someone you like is normal. And there is no rule that says you have to love the person you are dating.
However, once dating moves to a monogamous relationship including sex, then you should at least have strong feelings for that person with the hopes that you may one day fall in love.

NO. Just make sure that the other person is aware of what the dates mean and where you are heading and of course you pay your way. There is nothing wrong with having friends of the opposite sex.

No, nothing wrong as long as you don't lead them on. You might surprise yourself, though and fall in love with that person. After all, it's called "dating" not marriage. Have fun!

that's okay because dating is the first stage to get to like the person even more... At least you date the person you like and not the one you hate...

If you are going out as friends and you both agree... but to date, you should never go out with someone you wouldn't marry.
