Bedpan as a decoration...?

Question

I recently accepted a position as Director of Nursing in a nursing home. I found a vintage bedpan (never been used) on Ebay, and I wanted to incorporate it in the decor of my new office. I don't know what to do with it. Can't use it as a planter because my office doesn't have a window. Any suggestions?

Congrats on the Job!

You could use it for office supplies, put your scissors and tape and pens and pencils in it along with post it notes.
or use it for elastics /paperclips/ binderclips ect.
or use it for dry erase board markers...Fill it up with markers.
or use it for incoming or out going mail.
or use it for company pens, keychains (marketing supplies)
or use it for napkins.
or for candy/ twislers/chocolate.
or keep it as it is, as antique decor.

You actually could use it as a planter. There are many of varieties of plants that do very well in low or artificial light. Any florists will have several varieties that they could suggest, or you could go with the old standby, african violets!

Unless your office has a bathroom I would not use it. It would definitely fit in better in a restroom. maybe you could hang it on the wall with a catheter hanging next to it so people could me twice as offended.i don,t think people would find it in good taste because it is an item they have had bad memories about.Maybe one day when you have to have one You'll realize it!

why not use it as a planter w/ some fake flowers in it ?
you can find real nice ones @ any craft store
