NO. I truly believe that ALL men will always have a sexual attraction...even to their closest female freind. Sure it may not go anywhere, but that will most likely be because the woman will not allow it.

I personally have a couple of women that I've been friends with for years, and it's never caused any problems. These are people whose company I enjoy, and whose opinions and conversation I appreciate. I don't recall ever having considered them sexually. Surely there are other men who do the same thing. The only problem would be having a wife who was insecure in her marriage or who doubted her husbands feelings.

well in my PERSONAL experience, someone always wants more, sometimes it's me sometimes it's them, i have not had a guy friend for any length of period because of this... BUT i know some of my female friends do have platonic friendships with guys so i know it can be done, but i guess with me it hasn't been possible yet.... People are all DIFFERENT, what may work for some may NOT work for others... i gues it depends on the situation and the individuals involved

Men can and should have platonic relationships with women. Also, if a guy goes to a club with a woman and he's single, she can introduce to other women. If you're in a relationship, well you can ask your friend for advice. It's always good to have a female opinion

In "SERIOUS RELATIONSHIPS" there should be little room for a person to have "friends" of the opposite sex. One should always have friends of the same sex, because isolation from the world just because of a significant other is the dumbest thing most people do. Friends of the opposite sex can cause issues and sometimes interfere on purpose. Be smart, alert, and considerate.

Yeah of course they can, it is important that the boundaries are set in the beginning and after a while you begin to think of her as just a mate!

All men need to have at least one really good female friend, just to help us understand when we step out of line with our own women!!

I say yes, I have plenty of platonic male friends and have in practically all the cases never wanted it to go further, I value their friendship too much. Plus I'm happily in a relationship and wouldn't want to mess with that.

I believe they can if they are both mature and know there limitations in there friendship. If you start spending more time with your female friend instead of your mate, put your female friend before your mate, spend too much time with your female friend, then iy could cause problems in your relationship with your mate. So it's possible, but you have to draw the line sometimes and put your girl first, not your friend.
