Actually you had superior technology and superior numbers. They fought for their land and were slaughtered. Truces were signed and each time they were broken but white people. If i attacked your house and forced you out would you say thats ok because your a coward and couldnt fight me off?

Without any real offense, I happen to be of mixed origin, IE: Native, German, and Scot. I suspect Hundreds of millions of us on the planet are.
I also suspect that as an AMERICAN, you've never gone hungry, or had extreme prejudice forced down your throat, or been displaced from your home, often murdered, disregarded, and relegated to a life of disgrace, and degradation in sooooo many cases.

Obviously you don't know any Native Americans. If you talked with that stupidity around them, they would teach you a lesson in the laws of respect. They were never cowards! You are ignorant. They fought until they were almost exterminated from the face of the earth! I hate people like you who disrespect the people most worthy of respect. Whites did steal their land and killed almost all of them and then stole their children and placed them in boarding schools where they were forced to "be white". Do you call what the white man did to these Indians a fair fight, The Indians had spears,arrows,and hatchets. The white man brought weapons like cannons,rifles, and the gatlin gun. White man took over the land they didn't win it in a fair fight. Damn boy you need to go back to school and study your history a little more, white man brought disease that killed off Indian tribes. white man killed off the only source the Indians had of surviving winters (Buffalo) and you call them cowards.
Let me put it to you this way if you and your arien nations brothers were sitting around the house giving each other head like Ya'll are known for, and about a 1000 Mexicans pulled up and started killing you off one by one, would you call it fair.? The point here is that if the Europeans didn't take America from the Indians, the Mexicans surely would. Look at how many people live here now - and how many indians lived here then. If they want to take our country now, they sure would have taken it from the Indians then.
The difference is there are no other people left from when the Mexican ancestors took over. Here we still have Indians. If they took over, do you think there would be any Indians today?

Say what you want but, I'm in the camp that says let the Indians alone. They are the one group that nearly has no say in gov't. If it wasn't for the casino's they'd have no voice at all.

If you look at the map, big chunks of the US are native land anyway.
And honestly they got their tribal lands by fighting with others, anyway.
But, if you know US history, you have to feel like there had to have been a better way.
I don't think every gravesite needs to be returned to the appropraite tribe, but I can't see why we can't do something for them.

You brought diseases with you which the Natives had no Immunity against, You made treaties with them which were promptly broken at your convenience, You murdered women and children like animals, All because they did not let the pilgrims who washed up on their shores freeze and starve during their first winter.
