Sorry for your lost.

Here is a couple of funeral poems:

Silent Tear.

Each night we shed a silent tear,
As we speak to you in prayer.
To let you know we love you,
And just how much we care.
Take our million teardrops,
Wrap them up in love,
Then ask the wind to carry them,
To you in heaven above.

What is a Mum?

A mum is one of life's best gifts,
Someone to treasure all life through,
She's caring and loving,
Thoughtful and true,
Someone who is always a special part of your life,
Someone who holds a prime place in your heart,
She's a mentor, a confident and also a friend,
Someone on whose love you can depend.
A mum always has your best interests at heart,
She's someone so dear and so good,
She's a blessing, she's a gift,
She's a treasure like no other,
She's someone that is truly wonderful.
Wherever you go, and whatever you do,
A mum’s love will always see you through,
A mum is truly invaluable,
Indispensable and unforgettable.
I wouldn't want anyone but you,
And that's why I'm so grateful,
that life picked you for me.

Sometimes verses and poems can convey alot, but not as much as your own personal tribute from the heart, only you can really describe what your mother meant to you. Take some time think about something you did with her or a time you remember her being there for you and thank her for it on the card.

I hope this helps you a little...

It's such a great loss when you lose the only person in the whole wide world who loves you unconditionally. It doesn't matter what you write on a card for everyone else to see, your mum knew how you felt about her.I'm so sorry for your loss.Be kind to yourself at this very sad time.

I lost my Mum 3 weeks ago and the funeral is tomorrow. I'm struggling to know what to write too but I know I won't copy anything. It has to be personal to the individual. God bless you.

In gods arms you go today,
in my heart you'll always stay.
Loving mother you will always be,
sadly missed by your loving family.]
my tears flood as i kiss you goodbye,
tho i know your watching over us as i see your star shine in the sky.
Rest in Peace Mum

Sorry for your loss your own words will come to you there in your heart. I couldnt think of the words to say when i lost my mum at a young age, so i wrote what i was feeling.

One night My Mum had a dream.

Mum dreamed She was walking along the beach with the Lord.

Scenes from Her life flashed across the sky
and Mum noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,
one belonging to Her and the other to the Lord.

When the last scene of Her life had flashed before Her,
Mum recalled that at the lowest and saddest times of Her life
there was only one set of footprints.

Dismayed, Mum asked, "Lord, you said that once I decided to follow you,
you'd walk with me all the way.
I don't understand why, when I needed you most,
you would leave me."

The Lord replied, "My precious child.
I love you and I would never leave you.

During your times of trial and suffering
when you saw only one set of footprints...

That was when I carried you."

My Mum died three years ago and I personalised it to My Mum.

Something real from the heart, whatever that is, make sure that you seal the envelope too so that you're not worrying about what people think.
