are balding/bald men undesirable? How bad is it really?

I don't think it looks bad, as long as it's not covered up by a really bad comb-over.
Most men that are beginning to lose their hair will try all kinds of antics to make what they have left look like more.
I would say shave it completely, or keep what you have left really short and fashionable.. and ask your hairstylist for an opinion that will compliment your face shape.

I don't know why guys worry about that. Most women don't. When I was 18 I dated a guy who was balding and all my friends thought he was hot. My husband is losing his hair and I am not worried. He jsut keeps cutting it shorter and shorter. What is unattractive is the lake of confidence that seems to go along with it. There is nothing worse too then guys that try and cover it up with bad tupas and comb overs. I think confidence is sexy. Lots of bald guys are sexy. I mean look at Vin Diesel. Mmmm. Oh and Sean Connery is still hot.

I know a lot of women who are attracted to bald men.... I think it's just a matter of personal preference. Bald men don't bother me, I've dated several.

It depends on the guy. Don't worry about going bald. In fact, go bare, and shave it all off. Be proud to be bald! In some guys, it's very sexy. Look at Vin Diesel! :o)

Bald is cool, as long as you don't have a truly oddly shaped head. COMBOVERS ARE NOT COOL. I'd rather see a shaved bald or balding man than someone with a combover or a toupee. They're just wrong...and everyone KNOWS you're going bald underneath.

depends on the person . i think Nicolas Cage is sexy with his receding hair line . my fiance has a receding hair line and i think it is a turn on . however there is more than just being bald or not .
does the person dress decently ? do they take care of themself or are they morbidly obese and just sit around all day ? too many factors in this question .

What age group are married women in? I know women who were married in their teens...I also know women who got married in their 70s so are we talking the age group of say 15 to 75?

Personally, I couldn't care less if my husband shaved all his hair off and painted his head purple. I didn't marry his hair. He gets a little concerned peering at it in the mirror, but I really don't care.
My dad certainly has very little hair left on his head, and my mum hasn't shown any signs of running off....

No, my husband was going bald, and decided to go ahead and shave his head, I think he looks sexy that way.
