i have been looking at the questions and it seems like noone knows jack **** about the diease

I work with people who have HIV, email me if you need more info but I'll only answer back if you pick me as your best answer. I'm only joking about the best answer part, but I do work with and know about the disease if your serious.

I had a co worker in the late eighties that died from the disease. At that time there wasn't the kind of treatment available that there is today and he was being treated but for the illnesses that he got during the disease. He lost weight and got sick at a drop of hat. He was in pain toward the end. We all really felt for him because he was like a strong, kind a great person and to watch him just wither away to nothing before your eyes was pretty devastating. If anything I think it put the fear of god in to all of us about having unprotected sex.

There really is no symptoms, my cousin got it from his bf he was with for 3 years and didnt even know untill he went to the doctor and got a test it takes a few years and you will get sores on your body and feel weak all the time or so ive heard hope this helps good luck
