It seems that because in the environment you are probably in, you are currently surrounded by most friends or woman like that, hence the impression.

There are, definitely, I would not say most. Out of friends so far, from Girls' school in Primary and Secondary, to Poly, ten over years of working life...I have so far met only one, who only pick loaded man to be with.

Even if you have met one, it is not hard to tell that she is materialistic. Just keep your friendship with her at a minimal level.

Or even if you have fancied upon some girls whom you get the impression that they are, then give them up, they are not worth hanging out with.
