you can make meatloaf or meatballs or even salisbury steaks with stale bread..and french toast or even that bread pudding..
with the meat dishes mentioned its usually
onions , bread , beef , oatmeal (optional) , soy sauce (very little) , tomatoe (optional) , and garlic...then just form it into whatever shape you want , cook (dry fry or bake) and then eat :) very good.

you can grind up stale bread in a food processor to make bread crumbs, or cut into squares and toast in the oven with herbs and oil to make croutons, or cube it to use in stuffing.

* 2 cups stale bread crumbs
* 1 quart scalded milk
* 1/3 cup sugar
* ¼ cup melted butter
* 2 eggs
* ½ teaspoon salt
* 1 teaspoon vanilla or
* ¼ teaspoon spice

Instructions

1. Soak bread crumbs in milk, set aside until cool; add sugar, butter, eggs slightly beaten, salt, and flavoring; bake one hour in buttered pudding-dish in slow oven.

If very hard then dry them in oven or otherwise and use as bread crumbs. Secondly if they have not become very hard, brown fry them, soak in sugar syrup sereve as dessert. thirdly, if very soft make french toast.

Croutons...

Butter and season slices then cut into cubes. Toast in oven. YUM

Can also cube slices then toast in skillet in olive oil on stove top.
