..the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin, yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? Therefore do not be anxious, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?'

Do you think about things like how the sovereign God of all creation really does work all things together for good in his children's lives? I mean when you think about the necessary rain and the sun and how God created the intricate genetic structure to draw up chemicals from the soil He prepared ahead of time and how it results in a beautiful array of colors that bring Him glory, do you gain trust and personal encouragement for your own life?

I think about it quite a bit. Sometimes I will go out into the woods and take in God's creation before mankind got a hold of it. I have gained trust and encouragement from all of this, and God's sovereignity brings me much peace. For I know He is faithful and life on this earth cannot compare to an eternity.

Their is more proof that evolution happened, rather than God. Also if you continue to read the bible their are so many opposing ideas and inconsistencies. Yes if you quote only a couple of scriptures it makes sense, however as a whole it just doesn't connect. The ten commandments state that "thou shall not kill" however, exodus says that if a family member tries to tell you about "another God" you should kill them. I'm sorry, I just can't buy it.

Yes. Thank you for asking a worthy question. So many questions are so derogatory and yet I want to know the reality of the human condition and what God sees when He looks into the hearts of men. This site has certainly opened my eyes to what God sees in the hearts of men.
