Matsushitasan,
I began my quest for Truth, about 35 years ago. During this time, I explored most all of the belief systems known to our race, some of which are best left alone. In the end, I concluded that they were all a waste of time. They all lead to nowhere, and increase confusion and division. Religion and philosophy only paint vague and blurry images, of what we really want to know. THE TRUTH. I believe that I have finally discovered it, buried beneath the rubble of man's religions. Jesus, came to this world, to deliver a message to our race. It was simple and elegant: "The Kingdom of God, is within you". When we come to the Creator as humble children, and invite Him into our hearts, He sends His Spirit into us, and bonds with us. We literally become new creatures, part mortal, part Immortal. The old ways of materialism and fear, begin to die out in us. Love and Wisdom, become the foundations of all our choices. We have embarked on the Path of Eternity, and we will never be the same again. I know that this is true, because I have experienced it, and I bear witness to it. Jesus said, that unless we are reborn of the Spirit, we shall not enter the Kingdom. This is the most important knowledge we possess as a species, and yet it is almost unknown. Christianity, which is supposed to be the bastion of Jesus' teaching, has all but forgotten it. Now. all you hear about, is the pagan doctrine of blood sacrifice. My Father, does not desire the blood of anyone. He particularly does not desire the blood of those who love Him, and obey Him. If He did, I could not love or worship Him. The God I worship, and obey, is the God of Love. My source of religious knowledge, is my daily walk with The Living God.

Common sense. How can anyone nowadays believe in these myths and stories and things that happened 2000 years ago.
Most of scientifically disproven and are virtually impossible to have happened. Strangely none has happened recently. So use some common sense with a little scientific knowledge and you will have your source.

I personally don't like religion - I don't have to explain myself, I detest it. It's just not for me.
However, when it come to matters relating to God, truth and knowledge - there is no more accurate source of revelation and insight than the Bible. It does not only contain the word of/from God, it is the very word of God itself. If there is any fault in the Bible (the original), then there might be fault with God as well. But as it is, the Bible is flawless and faultless.
