Don't get involved. Imagine that this was the other way round, you as the female and a strange bloke rings you.
You don't know who he is or how he got your number. You don't have regular contact and the first messager is that you have to put money on his phone because he wants to talk to you.
Does this sound friendly? Its not, its pretending a relationship exists to get something from you.
Someone who is in your freindship group will be able to borrow a fiver without going to these lengths.
Just ignore the text. If she jumps on you on Saturday and goes nuts - why didn't you top up my phone - you know you're well out of it. Don't get involved, then regret it and try to break contact! Its too late by then.
Do it the other way around. Stay out of it, and ask around to see if anyone else knows her. But don't put the money on her phone.

Well im not normally a judgemental person but 2 things jumped out in my mind after reading that.
First of them being the word "stalker" : I mean she knows the name of your dog but you have no idea who she is. Sounds a little suspect.
When it saids she wants you to top up her phone for her, it sort of makes me wonder what her intentions are.
Altho, you could top it up by like a fiver just to find out who she is, if you like how you get on (cos texting aint that expensive) you can always top it up more.
And if she is taking you for a mug, at least you only wasted a fiver and not a stack more =)
Gut feeling is she just wants the cash on the phone, but im one of these people who gives the benefit of the doubt until im proved wrong.
Good luck

Sounds dodgy mate. I would ring her from a payphone, just in case its some sort of premium rate scam. Ask her who she is, and if she messes around she's obviously just trying to getting money out of you. Albeit in a very odd way!

The likely hood is it's someone you know..
if the curiosity gets to you and you can afford it, top it up, as a one-off only though!
Otherwise leave it! Cheeky girl!

Well, if you phone her you can still chat and find out what the score is using credit on YOUR phone!
Why top up her phone so she can call you? - pointless!

Don't do it. i got caught out this way and it was all a scam. ifshe really wanted to chat she would come and see you or top up her phone herself. Its an older scam but it recirculates again and again.

depends on how interested you are in finding out who she is!!! Tell her to top up her phone herself - then text you - and if you meet her on saturday night - you'll reimburse her for the credit top up! Fairs fair like!!!
