These answers are all on target. I would suggest a short, tepid shower, after which you rub baby oil on your skin and rinse off the excess (I use more viscous mineral oil, non scented). Remember, that you don't have to scrub all parts of your skin every time you bathe. Just soap and scrub the stinky parts, and leave the natural oils on the remainder of your skin.
Also, if you use the fabric softener dryer sheets, discontinue their use, as they leave small spiky fibers in the clothing that can cause itchiness.
I had this for years, until a sale on liquid fabric softener forced me to change, and VOILA, the itching went away.

Sounds like you have sensitive skin. Sitting in bath water can dry out the skin, causing itching. If possible, switch to showers or quick baths and see if that helps. You can also try switching soaps---a baby soap would be good for sensitive skin.
Also, try applying body lotion right after you dry off. That's what I do, and it really helps.

It could just be that your skin is dry, having a bath as opposed to a shower can dry out your skin.. try body wash with a moisturizer, or Aveeno cream after you get out of the tub. Sometimes air drying can help the itchiness.

change soap or maybe your bath water is too hot. This can cause your skin to dry out, hence causing itching. Also, after showing or bathing try rubbing baby oil into your skin....it's soothing and good for your skin too. It will moisterize it.
