It is one of my favourite things now that its' summer...it takes hours though, and you have got to be careful or else the meat will stay pink in the middle...

that wouldn't be my idea of a spit roast, I'd prefer to a big chunk of meat and skewer it both ends and work it until tender even if there was a little blood it would be ok....
