Dogs learn best when praised and given treats. But don't over indulge on teh treats or they might come to expect it and then you'll have a fat disobedient dog! :p
Seriously, I trained my blind dog to fossick for food out of a treat ball. At first every time it rolled away she wouldn't be able to find it and would lose interest. Then I decided to get some food out, and as I was giving her the food (near the ground to simulate what she needed to do), I shook the treat ball nearby. I also touched her nose with it so she could smell it and feel it. Within 20 minutes she had the idea.
For things like sit, I heard a good trick it to put food at their nose (don't let them eat it until they have properly sat down), and lead their nose up while applying a little pressure to their backside. Once they have their bum on the ground, give the treat.
Don't expect perfection at first, but be consistent and they'll learn.

Start slow, one trick at a time. Master what you need the dog to know first (i.e. walking on a leash). This can be done by always holding the dog on one side and keeping the leash very tight. When the dog fights to get away from your side, firmly (but not aggressively or painfully) jerk the leash back with a command stated firmly such as "heal" I personally use "wait." A friend of mine finds it helpful to keep treats in his pocket on the side that his dog walks, he also suggests keeping their favorite toy (tennis ball, etc.) there. Some dogs will just watch your pocket the entire time you walk. For sit, hold a treat in your fist (let the dog see you put it there) put your fist at the dogs nose then slowly move backwards over their head so that the dog looks to the ceiling and further. Most dogs will instinctively sit for balance. My dog was more stubborn, so I gently pushed on her back side at the same time to have her sit. Again, as you are doing this, firmly say "sit." For "paw" have the dog "sit" then say paw as you grab the dogs hand and shake it. When they give their paw, give a treat or pet them playfully. But if you teach him "paw" don't forget to teach him "no paw" for when small children or ladies with stockings are around. Dogs who know "paw" often think that's how they get pet by people, and need to be taught by you that there is a time and a place for everything. Eventually with all tricks, stop giving treats and start rewarding with petting and verbal praise. Patience and praise, always. Also, only use the dogs name when you are praising, not when you are fussing. Trust me, that makes a world of difference!
Good luck!

Its easy for example if you were teaching them to sit you put them in the sit position and say "sit" then you give them the treat and repeat a few times after a while the dog will realize that sit means to sit down and keep giving them a treat when they do so. Do the same for any other tricks i hope i helped thanx good luck.

Training a dog is just like training a child, you have to be patient, and continue to show him what has to be done, and reward him when he does it right.
