African Americans' Nation of Islam is NOT the same religion as Islam. Its NOT the representation of True Islam, as Islam is Not only for African American, nor is it only for Arab Muslims, Its for the whole of Humanity. Please, those involved in Nation of Islam, Get Out of There, and seek the real Islam. If anyone want any knowledge of Islam, contact Muslim Scholors and other Muslims in ur area who are not in nor associated with the Nation of Islam. If anyone want to ask some questions, he can ask to me at my e-mail askabtIslam@yahoo.com. Dont Fall for the Nation of Islam. Nation of Islam is totally different from ISLAM.

In fact, there are two kind of muslims: Sunni & Shiite(Sonni & Shi'e in Arabic pronounciation). They have got some small variations. & i don't think there could be any difference between those African American muslims & the muslims in Mid-east. except some beliefs which is mixed with their religion cuz always the way ppl live is mixed with their religion. Islam doesn't mean Arab; this religion is for everyone & is not appeared just for arabs.

i hope i could answer

The Nation of Islam is very different from the traditional Sunni and Shia varieties. The reason that Malcom X was assasinated by hirelings of the founder of the Nation of Islam, Elijah Mohammed was that Malcolm had visited traditional muslim communities in the middle East and he was trying to change the practices of NOA to a more traditional Islamic form.

Okay look at it like this when you have "Born again Christians" here in the United States that take their religion and beliefs to a radical extreme, that's who is fighting over there. Everyone can read one thing and only take away from it what they want it to say. That is why people are radicals. Most of the people that practice the Islamic faith are non-violent. It is not good to be violent.

the nation of islam are not muslims, and God knows best. Muhammad said there was no Prophet between himself and Jesus, and that there will be no prophet after himself. So the nation of islam believing in a prophet after muhammad, namely elijah muhammad cannot be considered to be following Muhammad.
this disease of man can be seen everywhere. the buddha did not ask to be an object of worship yet he has become 1, same with jesus (peace be upon him)

Religious and irreligious Muslims. No war is holy and unholy. In the Kingdom of Islam all are Muslims. The definitions of all the religions meet at certain points. Not taking notice of those points, we fight with each other for the cause of the points where they disagree. We have become champions in exhibiting our foolishness and cruelty and fight wars in the name of religions. No religion encourages illwill and hatredness. It is our ego that makes us divided.

There is difference between Extremist calling himself muslim and Muslim (similar to difference between G Bush and ordinary american)
The place of origin has nothing to do when person is following Islam

for the fact ....the nation of Islam ....are not Muslim....
other wise....all the Muslims ..do have...minor differences..but yet their basis are..same and all have...similar rules...

read about ISLAM ..and see how your thoughts and ideas would change....
and if you say you are not ...sterotype....try it with an open mind....and you would see....the light ..for your self....
and you would realize...the reason..why so many are converting...
