I had this encounter with spirits which i assumed it was my granpa. I was one of his favorite grandson. So 1 day when i'm going to start my first new job, i got a 'visit' from him (my granpa). I was fully aware what was going on coz i already woke up. I was lying on the bed and suddenly i felt that something had sat next to me on the bed, and my lower part of my body felt ice-cold. You guys/gals and any of these encounters before?

This is a good question.

My sister died suddenly 7 years ago (she was 16, I was 19). Because she was young and the nature of the accident, it was all over the local newspapers. We actually had someone (months and months later) drop off a letter for my parents at the newspaper headquarters. It was from a woman who said that my sister was coming to her and persisted until she wrote a letter to my parents.

The letter told my mom that she loved her. It also included a partial account of the accident which included facts that no one would have known.

But for the longest time after that I got thinking about life after death and where she had gone, and if the letter could be real. I've always been very scared that I would have a similar encounter. I loved my sister very much but, yes I think I would be very scared if I did have an encounter.

The spirits of our departed loved ones are asleep awaiting their resurrection unto either life or damnation. Demons who find an opportunity to influence humans will impersonate departed persons, but it is not the person. It is a wolf in sheeps clothing, and will lead you astray into some very wrong stuff. I love and miss my grandparents, too - and I've had 'visitations', but knowing the truth is a defense against error. I prize and respect my grandparents memory and look forward to being reunited with them one day. I will not let something else tarnish the precious gifts they gave me.

Brilliant, you have the gift. Talk to him, he comes to comfort and guide you. I see them when my eyes are closed, this white light opens and I see faces. My grandma on the other hand has the same thing happen to her. Her husband that died when her children were very young, comes and sits on her bed.

Don't be afraid, it is all good. You aren't creepy, just more sensitive to the other side. You are far from alone and it is becoming more and more accepted. But before you talk to anyone find out their view on it first. You will never convince someone that you can see and know this if they have a closed mind and you will wind up doubting youself. If you don't know it for a fact it will stop. Talk to any one up there when you are alone, you will find comfort in thier prescence

Congrats to you

sorry, ur grand-pa cannot come to u. liisten dear friend, the bible says... its appointed unto man to die once and after death comes judgement. what the devil does is this. when ones loved relative dies, the devil wears the same resemblance of the dead person and appears to those alive so as to decieve and give people the impression that his or her dead relattive is now protecting them.so my good friend the guy u saw sat in ur lower part is a demon in disguise. based on my own experiences, its the devil in disguise cos u always think much of ur grand-pa that was why the folken devil capitalised on that to pay u a visit. bye.

Lucky for you that you are open minded enough to let it happen. I don't know that I would be afraid, confused maybe but not afraid. Congrats for seeing him again. I believe you hey, hope you see him again sometime soon, especially in any time of need :o)
I haven't experianced it yet, but I have a thing going on with my grandma that when either one of passes, if it is possible to come through then we will.
Rock on........

regrettably there are human beings answering you who don't be conscious of God and for some reason they're discouraging to others. i replaced into saved 6 years in the past and it somewhat is been the main suitable ingredient I even have ever achieved in my life. i replaced right into a depressing individual earlier i replaced into saved. I felt like there replaced into something lacking interior of me and that i could no longer discover finished happiness. No you may no longer see God yet i be conscious of he's there by utilising the convenience he provides me with the aid of praying to him and seeing the outcomes of prayer. you do no longer in hassle-free terms have faith that there is a God yet you invite him into your coronary heart and life. the 1st step is which you admit you're a sinner. (all of us are) You settle for that Jesus got here and died on the circulate on your sins and settle for him into your coronary heart. Ask him to forgive you and be your Lord and Savior. by utilising doing this the bible says you're saved. once you are trying this you'll have an eternal domicile in heaven once you die. Then i urge you to wish and study on an known basis. i'm hoping that I even have inspired you and that i'm hoping you agree for him into your coronary heart.

Yep, I have. My brother was killed in a motorbike crash, in 1982. A few months after the crash, I saw him in my living room, sitting by the fire (where he would usually sit). I blinked and he was gone.

I always like to think he was coming back to say that everything was fine, and he was all right.

I've had strange things happen and I believe there is an afterlife...and yes I'd absolutely be afraid but I imagine my most loved ones would ease the fear...

I did. I just looked and went back to sleep. I'm more scared of people than spirits. Can't shoot no spirit.

Oh yes. My eldest daughter saw my mother twice in 94 and 96 when my mom died in 92. It didn't scare her and I don't think we should be scared of spirits if we're sure its our dead relatives.
