as you know prophet mohammad's miraj had some levels, and he went up the in the heavens, and in the highest level he was in god`s presence(we dont know how this experience was) ,
can we experience miraj to a level( not as high as he went up)??
have you had any experiences? is it recomended in islam??
BY THE WAY do you believe in miraj only his soul went up , or his body was accompanying too?

Well, as you know in the Miraj the Prophet (pbuh) saw many Prophets (pbuh) along the way. A very special commandment was given to the Prophet (pbuh) directly from Allah (God). That commandment was to pray 5x a day (it was lowered to 5x by help of Moses suggestion read the story it is interesting). Our Miraj is the 5 daily prayers. It acts as a communication and link with our Creator. That is our connection to God. You can reach a state where you feel in complete tranquilty and peace during prayer. That is why Prophet loved prayer and one of things he loved in the world. It takes effort and time. I would say start to know what you are saying in prayer and perfect recitation. Know that Allah is watching you and you are trying to perfect the prayer to please your Creator.

The miraj was complete body asending to the heavens.
