Here are some points comming to mind; The smoke emitted by burning fuel like wood, coal, petroleum products etc probably depend on the availability of these items. Pollution caused by plastic, rubber, nondegradable products may prove to be of great concern. It is not known to me whether pollution level is going to increase or decrease in next hundred years and which factor in which sector is going to bring greatest peril?

I perhaps assumed that availability of carbon components will sharply decline causing a reduction in carbon related pollution.

I believe there will be a steady increase in pollution as the world's population increases. We supposedly have approximately 30 years of oil reserves left on the planet. We will probably recycle more of the plastics than we have been doing. We will have to find another energy resource to maintain our needs. Hopefully, as we find better forms of energy (solar, water, wind, etc.) our pollution will lessen per person. But that probably won't occur for at least forty to sixty years from now.

So, I believe pollution will increase, but decrease on a per person level. Rephrased: there will be more people using less energy per person, but the total pollution will still be higher than it is now.

The pollution WILL DECREASE...... Because forest will disappear, all the oil and mineral resources will be drained. Due to the greedy men that kept on destroying our natural resources. Once the oil supply will vanish, men will return to the primitive way of living, till the earth will run dry and trees will be used as fuels. And the future generation will suffer from the wrong doings of the present generation.
I hope and pray that more people will join together to make this world a better place for the future generations.

Do you think that the corporations really care about the climate. Their bottom line is strictly money. They will say they care and contribute to the ecology so doing they convince you to buy their product. Like Shell Oil Co. coming on television and saying " Do people really care. Yes, we do, at Shell. Then they totally screw up the environment in some third world country and you probably will never hear about that. Unless people do something (unlikely, since we are dependent on the corporations for our lives, jobs, food, clothing, transportation,....

We will see more and more of it!

back in 1991, Iraq set the Kuwaiti oil rigs on fire causing a disaster to human beings, sea life, and the surrounding areas.

Less than a month ago, Israeli air raids caused a pollution in the Mediterranean sea - 10-15 thousand tons of crude oil-

These are just two incident that happened in the last 20 years, and are considered HUGE ones... so what do you think?

Due to increased industrialization of countries like China & India, those which are just now coming into their industrial resolutions, pollution levels will, without a doubt, increase on the global scale.
