well he needed abit of time to think for a good answer or to make a joke of it, and i think that he would of married u if u was bit older (21-30 years old). i dont know much about it coz im 13 but i do know that he just wanted to find the best answer.

it means that boys know that if they tell the truth they don't get sex, he accidental told the truth saw your reactions and went oops and remembered he should self censor.
