An individual is complicit in a crime if they are aware of its occurrence, have the ability to report the crime, but fail to do so. As such the individual effectively allows the criminals to carry out a crime despite easily being able to stop them, either directly or by contacting the authorities. We have allowed undocumented workers to come here to start a better life and have families. To suddenly tell them they must leave is both morally and ethically wrong. We have all been complicit in this crime. Agree or disagree

why is it when you ask a tough question to the anti-illegals they won't answer the question?

"WE" meaning some portions of the government and business interests are complicit, through greed and laziness.
I am rabidly anti-Illegal Immigration, but understand that the criminal blame rests largely on the individuals who make it attractive to sneak in here because jobs are a-plenty.
I am not in favor of instantly packing them all up and running them out. I think most have to leave though.
When the cops let you do 65 in a 55 all the time, you get used to thinking that it's OK. It is not the criminal equivalent, but follows the thought process.
Not all are here just to make a better life, not all would stay in the US and assimilate if you let them (make the money and run). These are the problem ones.
I run in to Mexican Immigrants all the time (farm laborers). I don't' ask if they are legal or not. Regardless, most are just here for the money, they have no interest in anything American that does not have "George Washington" on it.
It has to be dealt with, it should have been before, and sending them all back on a bus in the next ten minutes is not the answer.

By the way, an inverted flag is the sign of distress when no other means is available. Please respect it as it is the symbol of the American people, not the current government in office.

Disagree. It is morally right as we are the ones transgressed, not you. Deportation em masse is the best and only thing to do. I didn't catch it at first, what your explaining and asking are two different things.

Telling them at ANY time is morally and ethically right; to further speed things up, deportation is cost effective and even called for by many faiths across the country.

As far as complicit, there are over 33 organizations that have been trying to get the illegals deported since the 70's.

You don't know what your talking about but your under the impression we just asked today. Your wrong.

No, it's not complicit at all. You tried to make it sound that way by your wording but it isn't. I disagree vehemently with what you said. It is wrong to not have them leave. We must think of our own people first. I don't owe them anything. I think of my own before I do strangers or trespassers or in the illegal immigrant's case.....criminals. We, the true Americans, are not accomplices.

Also, by having our flag upside down, I'm going to assume that you are anti-American. I hope you are not living in this country because if that's the way you treat our flag, you aren't deserving and you aren't worthy to be here. If you are an illegal or supporter, please do us a favor and go back to wherever it is you love, because it isn't the U.S.

Illegals and employers of illegals are complicit in crimes. Who am I to know who is illegal or not? I'm certainly not complicit in any crime related to illegal immigrants.

That brings me to my second point. You know why I dislike illegal immigrants? Because I went through the process LEGALLY for my wife. It was a gigantic a$$-pain, and I certainly contemplated many heinous crimes against the INS drones who held our lives in their hands, but in the end, we took the time and the money to do it right. I have little sympathy for anyone who couldn't be bothered.

Finally, turn your flag right-side up. Only a true dirt-bag flies the US flag upside down when it's not a distress signal. You betray your pathetic need for attention with that avatar.

Disagree.

Your logic is not logical at all! I understand the first 3 sentences. However, after that, you are no longer logical. The illegal immigrants knew they were breaking the law when they crossed the border. They are the criminals in this scenario. The next criminals are those who hired them. The illegal immigrants became further criminals when they used fraudulent SSNs and continued on with their criminal activities such as getting drivers licenses, credit, etc., with their fraudulent ID.

I dis-agree. And this is about the law...for the illegals to enter America is morally, ethically AND legally wrong. The American people are overwhelmingly in favor of deportation. Over 80% of Americans realize the financial instability and drain they(illegals) have on the American economy. Your position seems to be, if we haven't done anything before now..why do anything at all. that makes no sense. Laws were not made to be broken..a sovereign nation was not made to be trespassed on. The bulk of illegals do not care about the law and it shows.

We are NOT complicit in this crime.

We did our job by electing those who were charged with the task of taking care of our borders. Now that we see the job is definitely NOT getting done, we are making ourselves heard...and being called racist as a result. The officials are complicit and should be dealt with as complicit criminals...

WE THE PEOPLE are NOT!!!

implicit in your question is the assumption of prior knowledge of a specific activity or knowledge of an actual event which was ignored which is necessary for one to be complicit.
The inability of laws against illegal immigration to stem the tide of illegal immigration does not make us complicit

No, I am not complicit in the crime. I think it is a crime that you have the American flag upside down and I find it very offensive.
