you know nothing. And you wonder why non-theists think you are ignorant.

I can't seem to grasp the concept of not being brain-washed is equal to not knowing anything.

Can someone please explain the logic used to come to such a conclusion?

adyghe... shouldn't you be answering the question?

If it's the answer I think it is, she was implying that any opinion is evidence of brainwashing, and that's really no more than a melodramatic exaggeration.

Opinions and beliefs don't have to be a product of brainwashing if they are formed through examination of evidence.

Now I can just hear all the people twisting that statement - "Yeah, we examined the evidence! That's why we believe!" So let me just say that there is no evidence to support the existence of a deity.

Shouldn't you be writing your opening statement?

Because mine is actually almost finished.

I'm not sure that you are able to grasp many things, this would certainly not be the first.

Although, I must say I don't exactly understand it either.

I have no idea. The obvious premise would be that a person can never know anything unless he is brainwashed.

Or maybe, that "brain-washed" = faith, and faith = true knowledge?
Thus, if you have no faith, you really know nothing?

Doh!
1:empty head.
2:fill with brainwash juice.
3:head now has something in it whereas before it had nothing.
