Now that we live in a world where people are getting smarter, and information flows across the globe more easily, why have we not seen any images or proof of miracles in the world?
Simple question.

Oh and none of that Babies being born are a miracle, or people falling in love. If we can explain it, and reproduce it in some cases, its not a miracle.

Excellent question, similar to ones I and others have asked. I especially like the part about babies being born because they are the type of answers that make you roll your eyes.

I would have to answer that there are miracles, just not on the grand scale of the Red Sea being parted. An example given above about the car accident and absence of injuries might be an example. On a larger scale - the Miracle at Dunkirk in WW2. Could they be just very fortunate occurrences, I suppose, but they may very well be miracles too.

Every step in this modern world is a miracle and records can be checked in the Guinness book. Mahabharata with 1.8 million words was written by Maha Rishi Ved Vyasa long ago in the year 500 BC but displayed now in India on Doordarshan and made a record of 96% viewers and found place in the Guinness book of world record. Similarly such records are made regularly and the importance will be known in the near future

Well, first of all, no one on earth can explain how babies are created, or why they are born, including You and Me. Scientists can see the cells multiply, but they can't tell you where the cells came from, or why they exist, or how they live, or what they consist of, except for dna, which are other smaller cells that they can't explain where they came from, or why They exist, or how they live, so you ask about miracles? I can't answer except for telling you it's a miracle that we are able to be online and actually ask a question like this. To me, the Bible was easy, a few men wrote it, they had nothing else to do at the time. No cars to fix, no electricity to play with, and certainly no computers to occupy their minds. They wrote novels, and we call it the Bible.

Well you haven't told us what is a miracle to you...
When I see a driver crushed inside a car, under a semi truck and gets out without a scratch, I see it as a miracle.
When I see a birth of a baby, I see it as a miracle.
When I see how ants create a perfectly functional city in the matter of days, I see it a miracle.
When I see 1.2 billion people refusing the use of alcohol that also leads people to do many other unthinkable things, I see it a miracle.

My question once again stands, what do you consider a miracle?

You people are idiots.
Just 3 days ago I was helping to connect a trailer behind a pick up truck,I was holding it where the hitch is as my friend was backing the truck up,the trailer was heavy and I couldn't hold it, as it dropped my foot got hung up and was twisting my ankle sideways and when I looked at it as it was all happening I could see
it was going to be bad maybe jerked my foot off.
I hollered out OH NO LORD and in a split second I dropped to the ground, when I did everything stopped. I didn't even get a bruise.
Now it may not be a miracle to you but I can sure tell you it was and THANK GOD.

In the bible it says that the gifts of the prophets were done away with such as the laying on of hands (healing) and the prophecies (telling the future) and the direct knowledge from God (God talking to people from heaven) this is found in 1Corinthians 13:8-10 (The perfect is the bible James 1:25 perfect law of liberty)

miracles happen everyday,if you make a survey of poeple around you,you will know that miracles happen go to www.lighthousechapelinternational.org and go to Healing Jesus Crusade from the home page you'll know miracles exist.can you explain where the air comes from?you know the process involved in child bearing but where from the fingers and toes of the child, where from the head, eyes, legs and so on.and they all dont come at once from one fingure to five all with different shapes and sizes,if you are able to explain then miracles dont exist.how come you wake up every morning,is it because of your alarm clock, well there are poeple who set their alarm clocks and dont wake up,poeple get headaches and die while others dont they are all miracles.the fact that things can be explained does not mean miracles dont exist at all.May you have one soon if you believe it exists.

Hi!

I can't believe that people don't know of the miracles of healing that The Holy Spirit does in our churches....

I don't know about the U.S. but in South Africa, there are churches where God does wonders!!! People who were HIV + and even their bodies confirmed the doctor's diagnoses become healed...

People rising from wheelchairs, the blind seeing in the name of Jesus Christ....I tell you people are missing a lot...

The sad part is that Satan managed to discourage the media to visit and follow up these testimonies in our churches...

You only need to come to where the the real saints of Jesus Christ are, and you will fall in love with Jesus Christ.

Hug!

Keep your eyes and ears open. You will see plenty of them happening all around you. You may be looking for spectacular things which those smart people can't explain. But, there are millions of transformed lives which are nothing less than miracles.
